Gonzalez's Heart

You all are so awesome. It feels so good to see you all on here and the support you have all given us. It is so uplifting!!! I am sorry I can not keep up. Luckily Robyn can help with that. Yesterday was a very busy day for us as we tried to spend time with Jaden, check out of the hospital and into the Ronald McDonald house. We were so exhausted by the end of the day.

I have much to tell and many pictures to post. The room we have here is very small and we are moving to a new one later today so we have not unpacked anything. Once we do I can get to our computer and post the pictures. I will also update you with the pictures. I am anxious to do that.

Jaden did get moved this morning and I was able to finally hold him. I was crying of course and could hardly see him. It felt so wonderful to hold him for a few minutes. I also told the ambulance drivers that we were going to hitch a ride on their bumper so they decided to let us ride in the ambulance. I have a picture of that.

So I guess I better quite talking so I can tell you all about it with the wonderful pictures. I will get the address to here also. Talk to you all a little later, Steph

p.s. Krista, we would love if you stopped by. You can call Sal's cell 320-761-5000. That is where we can be reached.

Hi Steph and Sal,
We are so glad to hear that things are going well. I bet it felt so wonderful to hold Jaden. I did the same thing when I held Andrew for the first time. Our Pastor had to push me into the room because I was so scared. He had so many tubes and he looked so fragile but it was the most wonderful feeling to hold him in my arms and tell him how much I loved him.
I just got all of my pop tabs ready to bering up and I have 11 ziplock sandwich bags!!! YEAH!!! Thanks to Evan's class.
I put your number in my cell phone and we wil see you tomorrow.
Love and hugs,
Krista

Hey guys! I am so glad you got to hold him Steph...it makes me start crying every time I think about it. Hopefully soon you will be holding him lots more. I'm glad you're taking so many pictures. I was wondering if you could use a 7x7 album? Maybe you could put pictures of family in it to leave in his crib for the nurses...just a thought.
