Gonzalez's Heart

Jaden had a busy week. We went to see the cardiologist on Monday. Jaden had an echo, chest x-ray and lab work done. Dr. Martin said he was looking very well and his echo looked very good as well. Jaden was kicking his legs so much that they had a hard time seeing one of his shunts. They were able to see that there seemed to be no leaking so they were fine with the results. They were pleased over all.

He then had his 4 month check with his piediatrician on Thursday. Dr. Hu was very pleased with how alert he is and how well he controls his body movements. She also said he looked wonderful. He had to get his immunizations. Last time he did fine with them. This time though the nurses had to remind him to breath because he was so upset. He was fussing all night last night and has had a slight fever. He was not to pleased getting them I guess.

We will all have to get flu shots this year and he will also get a siniges shot. This is for RSV. They take antibodies from a large group of people and combine it to help bodies adapt better. These are very expensive shots because of the complexity of them.

We have a lite weekend planned. Just staying around the house to catch up on some well needed rest for all.

Love to you all, Steph

Poor guy! I pray that he feels better today.

Praise God about his visit with Dr. Martin!! :)

Hope you are able to take some time to rest and take care of yourself. I can't wait to see you when school starts up! Katherine has asked about Ashley. Do you know who Ashley has for a teacher this year? Katherine has Mrs. Avery.

Hope to see you on the 24th for open house! :)

Hi steph,
That is great that Jaden is doing so weel. Those shots are never fun. I have always given the kids tylenol or motrin before they even get their shots and they usually sleep afterwards.
We are also stying home this week-end and getting our fence done. Ken has all the posts in and we got the rest of the lumbar on Wed. so now we just put it together and we are set.
Just waiting for some papaerwork from IA to return to Social Services here and I can get my day care license. I have my contracts and the paperwork for me done so now I just wait on them.
Have a great week-end.
Hugs to the kids.
Love,
Krista

Hey Stephanie - Everyone at work has been asking how Jaden is doing. They are always happy to hear the good reports. He is doing so great!

I also don't have much planned this weekend. Tomorrow I will clean my messy house and Sunday I am going to Valleyfair with a friend from work.

I work Monday and Tuesday. Then on Wednesday it is off to Mankato for 5 days with Krista's kids while they go to the NASCAR race in Bristol TN. It should be lots of fun, but I am sure that I will be very tired when I get home on Monday. I may have to take Tuesday off as an extra recovery day!!

Enjoy your quiet weekend!

Luv, Stacy

Glad to hear the good updates. Jaden is still in my prayers everyday. I pray for the next visit to the U. Is it still looking like you will be at the U in October depending on Jaden's weight, etc?

Hey Steph,

Glad to hear the echo results looked good!

Levi had shots last week too and didn't "enjoy" them much either! So, I feel your pain! LOL

Take care! Call me! :)
