Gonzalez's Heart

Everything is going very well here. Jaden's nurse came on Friday and he weighed 9.5. She said again how good he looks. We still have not heard how his labs went so I am assuming they are fine, but I will be calling them today. Very displeased with how they are handling everything.

This weekend was very nice. We went to the cabin for our annual father's day camp out. We did not camp this year because of Jaden. It was nice. We make flags every year and the first one we had was dated back to 1996 or 1997. We have done this for many years. Jaden still gets very over stimulated being around so many people, but he slept wonderfully. Sunday late afternoon at home, we planted some more in the yard and got quite a bit done. It was a great weekend.

Today we started Vacation Bible School and a lot of people were excited to see Jaden and see who they have all been praying for all of these months. We will have this all week and are sure to get very tired. It is always fun though. This is the 6th year I have taught it.

Hope you are all well.

Hi Steph,
9.5, way to go! It must have been a challenge to get all the feedind stuff together with the thickener and him having trouble swallowing. He must be so big by now.
We also had a great week-end at the cabin. Saturday it rained and we stayed in all morning and then in the afternoon Rosemary and I went to Wilmar and shopped a little. Ken had 3 of the kids and we took Owen. They napped while we shopped. Sunday the twins had Ken out fishing at 7AM. They had such a great time with their new poles and tackle boxes. Today we are trying to get back in the routine of things at home.
Evan just finished Bible School on Friday and he had a great time. I remember when we would go to Grandma and Grandpa Krueger's for 2 weeks in the summer and go to Bibike School. We always had a fun time there.
Have a GREAT week.
Love to you all,
Krista

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Thank for the gift certificates (we'll have dinner and dessert on you), thank you for the angel (I love it) and I absolutely love your family picture! You are too thoughtful & sweet! With everything you have going on, you think of me and my "journey"...Today has been better - yesterday wasn't so good. But one day at a time.....

Thanks so much for your thoughtfulness!

Love,
Karen
