Gonzalez's Heart

After Krista had told us all about the pop can tabs and sending the little houses with her son to school, I decided that would be a great way to start our stay there. I am collecting as many pop tabs as possible. I am sending houses home with Ashley's classmates and also am asking a lot of other people to help collect them. I did not want to go empty handed to the Ronald McDonald House. I have never been one to ask for much help. I usually am on the giving side so this whole experience is quite hard for me. So I figured what better way to except help but to give in return. So any of you can definitely save your pop tops and send them to us or the Ronald McDonald House.

Many of you keep asking what you can do for us and still the biggest thing we ask is for prayer. Prayer for a miracle, prayer for the surgeons wisdom, ability and steady hand and prayer for a very healthy baby in every area of its body. The only other thing we would need would be meals/groceries. I want my family to eat healthy while I am not here to make dinners and to make sure they are getting their fruits and veggies. Other then that, we really can't think of much else needed at this time. Thank you for the helpful thoughts.

We are very grateful for your continued support!

Love, Steph and Sal

Hello,
What nice snowy weather we are having today! The kids are not getting out early so that is a good thing. One snow day a week is enough. The other three kids and I are just hanging out and cleaning.
I am glad you were able to get the houses too. the pamphlet is very interesting saying that they have raised $700,000 with just the tabs. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!!!
I hope things are going well for you and just remember that prayers are being said for you all over the place and they do wonders.
Have a great week-end!
Love,
Krista

Hi Gonzalez Family!
Just wanted to say hello and that we continue to think of you so often!

We were supposed to get a bunch of snow today, but only have had flurries so far - so much for the "local weather man!" I want his job!!

Stacy's coming tomorrow - can't wait to see her. She's lost 55 lbs!! Have a busy week-end planned and it will be so good to have her here for a couple of days. We head up to Krista & Ken's on the 24th for a long week-end - can't wait to see all of them. We miss those kids so much - I'm way behind on hugs & kisses!!!

I'll work on collecting tabs at work and maybe Sam can too! Just remember that you have a HUGE circle of family & friends out here and we're here for anything that you need us to be here for!! Wish that we lived closer so we could help you out, but we continue to pray for strength for all of you!

Love to everyone,

Karen
