Gonzalez's Heart

Our family is so blessed to have such supporting family and friends. Thank you to all who called to offer help, sent e-cards, flowers and for your continued prayer. It means so much to us. This is what will keep us all together. Whether you know it or not, all of those wonderful things have helped lift me up. I just know everything is going to be fine but I am the kind to try and take on the world. Obviously, no one can do that and it just makes it that much harder for me to just step back.

Today was so much better. I had said to Sal this morning, "I wish you could start work late so we could go out to breakfast." He thought he was not able to. I still decided to take Ethan to my friends, Steph. When I was leaving her house, Sal called and said his morning runs were not going to ready for a few hours so he could have breakfast with me. I was so happy. Tonight, our Awana club had a skating party. We all went and Sal put on his rollerblades and we took the kids around. The kids looked like noodles and it made me laugh so much. It felt really good to laugh like that. Sal even bought us icee's and cotton candy.

Wendy brought Amber to the vet yesterday and after 3 different tests they found she has Lyme's disease and Pancreatist. She had to stay the night and was treated with Catheterization and was started on her medication. We picked her up this afternoon and she was so happy to see us and she looked completely refreshed and better. It felt good to see she was all right.

Well off to bed I must go. I will let you all know what the doctor says tomorrow. Sleep with the Angels and dream well.

Love, Steph

Steph,
So glad to hear that things are going better. It sounds like you and your family are having a good few days and laughing is the greatest medicine in the world!!! I love to check your site and see all of the support you are getting!
Best of luck at your appointment. I will check later and see how things went.
I got a note form Mattie and your Dad and checked out thier site and got caught up with them again. This is such a great way to stay caught up with everybody.
