Gonzalez's Heart

Thank you everyone for your continued support. We are doing fine here and just patiently waiting for our baby to arrive. We will be meeting a doctor at the U of M this week to go over delivery options, date of inducement and other plans.

The last level 2 ultrasound looked really well. They said all of the other organs of the baby looked good and it is moving alot which is a very good sign.

Other then the obvious prayer request of smooth delivery and non complicated surgery, would be that the baby would be able to nurse. Half of the babies born with this problem are not able to eat on their own and we would not like to see this happen.

Hope you all have a great Valentine's day with your families and/or friends.

God bless, Steph

Steph & Sal,
We are so glad to hear the your appointments are going well. We know from experience that the power of prayer is a truly amazing thing. We were so blessed to have all the prayers that we did when I was pregnant with the twins. They never expected me to carry them past 28 weeks and we made it to 35 and they were big healthy babies. I love being able to check here for updates and it is nice to know how things are going and we don't have to wonder. Great idea putting things here. Hang in there and we will most definately keep the prayers coming for all of you and your family.
Love,
Krista, Ken, & Family

Dear Stephanie and Sal

To Sal: Just a few days ago we were kids playing in the dirt and now we are fathers. How life moves. When life shocked me with the news that I had cancer, I felt that if I didn't remain strong, my world would come tumbling down. Through all the trials, the surgerys, the cancellation of my wedding, the chemotherapy and through every test I go through, I always remember one thing the LORD said in Isaiah Chapter 41:10: Do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
This is always my strength and I share it with you. We will pray for you.

To Stephanie: You are a great woman for who you are and what you do. I know now that the work of a mother and wife is hard, God knows I could never do it by myself. I will pray for you and your child, and ask GOD to give you the strength you need to endure the storm. GOD bless you and you children.

Love,
