Here is Jaden :) What a sweet little boy!! Look at all his hair, and his cute little chin. Thank-You everybody for all your support for Steph and Sal. That means soo much to them and I know it wouldn't be the same without all the prayers and thoughtfulness from everyone. I know we are all taking it one day at a time, and look forward to the day Jaden can go home with his new family!!! See you tomorrow.

Love, Robyn

OHH MY!! How cute and fragile. It is so amazing how precious life can be. I understand the nervousness of the transfusion, so prayfully Sal will be able to be his donor. That would be another blessing from God.

Steph, as you are making your ajustments "in your new, but temporary" home, plese let me know if there is anything that you need. I know that sometimes it is hard to "ask" from others, but truly this is a time where you need to lean on friends and family and allow us to be that bridge for you all. It is the least any of us can do.

Continuing to pray, good night, and God's Blessings!

Love, Adina ahd family!

He is soooo precious! I can't wait to meet him. =)

I have about a bazillion questions, but you know me...you are doing a fantastic job of keeping us updated and I really appreciate it!

For others who are reading this and may wonder...I do a lot of internet searching *wink*. I found a great website with stories of little ones who have had the same condition (HLHS) and have undergone these surgeries and survived. It was a great encouragement to me, so I thought I would pass it along. http://www.littlehearts.net/stories/default.asp (you will have to copy and paste that into your browser address bar). Also, I heard a quote out there, "Half a heart, not half a life..." and I LOVE that!

I am so thankful for little Jaden's life and we know that God is cradling him in his hands!

So, is Jaden off the respirator, or at least off the respirator sometimes?

Good Morning!!

Hope everyone is adjusting well and had a good night's sleep... if that's possible. I know that you enjoy every moment that you have with Jaden until he has to go in for surgery. We are praying for today's outcome with the transfusion and Sal being the donor.

I will have to look at the website that Steph T listed. And I agree that the saying "half a heart; not half a life"... is beautiful and sooo true.

Enjoy this mornign that the Lord has blessed you with!

Call you later! Love, Adina and Zakiah

What a precious little boy he is!! We pray that you will feel the Lord's presence each and every step of the way. You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers and know the Lord will sustain you in the journey ahead. Take one day at a time.

Is there an address I can send a package to? I have something I would like to send you Stephanie.

As Adina said, PLEASE let us know how we can help. We are all longing to do something.

Love to you all!

Oh he is just so incredibly cute!

Our prayers are with you all. Thank you for all of the family and friends that have helped Stephanie & Sal. What a blessing you all are.

Someone posted the first picture of the 3 of you on the teachers' mail box and I'm sure this one will be there also. SCCS continues to lift you all up in prayer.

Let Ashley know that Katherine misses her and so does the rest of the class.

God bless you all!

Hello Everybody,
I love to just check here and see that cute little Jaden on the site! That was such a great thing to see this morning.
I just called and got the information that we needed to help fund part of your stay at the Rondal McDonald House. If anybody else would like to do the same you can call Tiffany, 612-331-5752. She is great! You can pay with a credit card or you can send them a check. I thought rather than get something that I wasn't sure if you needed it or not, this would be a great gift! I am so glad that we could help you out!
I am hoping to come over on Saturday while we are in the cities, I'm not sure If everybody will come or just me, we will have to see what the moods of the kids are. LEt me know if I can bring anything, ANYTHING!!!
Talk to you soon.
Love,
Krista

Steph and Sal,
What a darling little boy! I know life in the NICU can be difficult- hang in there, and take help when you need it. Your family is always in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey Steph and Sal - He is so cute! Hope you all are doing OK and getting a little rest. Sounds like everyone thinking of you often and sending prayers your way.

I called the Ronald McDonald house and they gave me a direct # for Tiffany, it is 612-767-2781.
I work with a girl that volunteers at the one in Rochester. It sounds like a wonderful place.

I will be with Krista and Ken in the cities this weekend so hopefully we will get to stop over for a visit.

Take care!
Luv, Stacy

Well congratulations on your beautiful baby boy. I just wanted to share with you that my first child was born with a severe disorder that required the entire left side of his brain to be disconnected shortly before he turned 2 years old and I was so scared while he was in surgery. I thought it might comfort you to know that my little boy who they gave very little hope for a decent recovery is my 9 year old shining star now who is living a very full and happy life as your little Angel will and you will soon notice as I did that as hard as this time is God has something special in mind for your little boy as he did mine. Children are a lot stronger than we give them credit for all they need is the love of their family and I know that with you by his side he will come through shining like a star. Have faith all will be fine. My prayers and my families are with you and yours.

I have a small gift for Steph and don't want to wait to give it to her. Is there anyone (Adina?) going from St. Cloud down to see them this weekend? You can email me: stephtheis@charter.net or call 253-2653.
Thanks!!

Oh Sal and Steph....we are so excited to see this little angle you call Jaden. We want you to know that your "Cali" family are thinking of you and keeping you all in their prayers. Jaden looks like a strong little guy and we ready to hear all the good news of his surgery success and homecoming. Remember that we may not be there with you in body but we are in spirit.

Love to you all

Congrats on the birth of your precious little boy! I'm sure you are anxious about all that is going on and all that is still to come, but it seems that you have great support and prayers from friends and family. Having been through scary stuff with my son when he was little I can totally relate and know that the support and prayers is what will get you through! Know that my thoughs and prayers are with you at this time! Good luck with everything you and he will go through!
